Kabaad Se Jugaad, Ayurvedic dumb charades impress one and all at AIIA’s Anandotsav

NEW DELHI / Students, scholars, and staff of All India Institute of Ayurveda (All India Institute of Ayurveda) engaging in a much-needed creative initiative in form of Kabaad Se Jugad, that motivated the onlookers to use the waste (kabaad), which is generally thrown in the bins, in a manner so that they can be used in the households over a period of time, on Wednesday.
While the team of the Accounts office consisting of Mausami Ray, Divya Jha, Khushboo and Saurabh used wax to transform an already dried plant into an eye-catching décor, Dr Ankur Tanwar used the creative bent of his mind to transform waste paper into wall frames.
A special Dhum Pan Yantra which is used to treat Vatta and Pitta related diseases was also created by Dr Bhagyashree using waste coffee cups.
Another unique event that garnered the attention of the audience was the Ayurvedic Dum Charades competition which saw participants guessing the ayurvedic terminologies that were enacted by the team members.
Slogans such as Har Ghar Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Shlokas were enacted by the participants at the event.
Other events on the third day of Anandotsav—the weeklong Annual Cultural and Sports Festival of All India Institute of Ayurveda were a solo music competition and folk-dance competition.
In the later part of the week, Kavyanjali–A poetry competition on the theme Ayurveda Amritanaam, Aarogyam, and Swasthyam will display the poetic skills of staff and students at the institute on November 17, 2022. This will be followed by a Dance Competition (Western Dance), a Mimicry Competition, and a Pencil Painting Competition.
Competitions such as a Shlok Antakshari, Extempore/ Debate, Mehandi and Rangoli will be organised on November 18.
On the same day, a Rangoli Competition based on the theme ‘Har Din Ayurveda’ will be highlighting the importance of the ancient branch of medicine originating from India.
The finale of the week-long annual and cultural sports week on November 19 in form of a modelling event and would witness a valedictory function including a guest performance. This would be followed by a grand prize distribution ceremony that will be attended by celebrities and VIPs.
