‘Madhya Pradesh Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh’ Pays Homage to Journalists, Who Died of Covid

BHOPAL /Madhya Pradesh Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh (MPSPS), a union of journalists paid tribute to scribes, who lost their lives to Covid-19, in a Shokshabha, organized at Phoolbagh ground in Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh on Friday.

The MPSPS in a press note issued in Gwalior said that colleagues journalists, who died of Covid, include Rajendra Shrivastava, Sabir Ali, Akash Saxena, Ratiram Shakya, Dr Omprakash Garg, Rajendra Khandelwal, Devkinanadan Sharma, Anup Sharma, Devendra Khandelwal (all from Gwalior), Virendra Vashishtha, Dr AK Sharma, Govind Garg ( all from Shivpuri), Dwarika Hukwani, Nathuram Abhilashi ( all from Dabra), Dilip Shrivastava, Shivdan Singh Sikarwar, Ravi Shrivastava, Vivek Shrivastava, Sunil Sharma (all from Guna), and Pandit Krishna Murari Sharma (from Ashok Nagar).

On this occasion, the MPSPS has urged Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to release the orders as he announced considering journalists to be the corona frontline workers, so that the family of the aggrieved scribes could get its benefits.

Pradip Mandhre, president of MPSPS for the Gwalior division, offered tributes to the deceased journalists. Mandhre shared the association and contributions of the deceased scribes towards the field of journalism while addressing the condolence meeting.

Senior journalists, Dr Keshav Pandey, Dr Suresh Samrat, Rajiv Agrawal, Chandravesh Pandey, Brijmohan Sharma, Ravi Upadhyay and Gurusharan Singh spoke about the noble life of the late scribes and offered homage to their departed soul.
