MP High Court Chief Justice Malimath inaugurates renovated Library at Gwalior bench

BHOPAL / Madhya Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Ravi Malimath inaugurated a renovated library at the MPHC bench Gwalior on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the administrative judge of the Gwalior bench of the MPHC, justice Rohit Arya was present especially.

With the efforts of the Administrative Judge of the bench, justice Arya, the library has recently been renovated equipping it with all the state-of-the-art facilities. The library was set up on the campus in 2002 during the establishment of the new building of the Gwalior bench.

The foremost aim behind the renovation of the existing library is to provide comfortable space and engagement of environmental facilities to the judges, lawyers, and law researchers to study and desire knowledge conveniently.

In the renovated library, there is the facility of a separate chamber befitting the decorum of the High Court judges for the purpose of the study.

Apart from this, there are a full sort of facilities available in the library, which are inevitable for a complete library based on law books. It also provides an online facility for searching the judgments and citations pronounced by the Supreme Court and the High Courts of the country.

At the inaugural function, Hitendra Dwivedi principal registrar of the bench and Abhishek Gour OSD cum PPS to Chief Justice were also present.

The Function was attended by the president of executive members, office bearers of the High Court Bar Association, additional advocate generals, deputy solicitor general, senior advocates, members of the State Bar Council and officers of the registry.

During the function, the chief librarian of the institution, Anil Kumar Deshmukh gave a brief account of the renovated library before the guests.
